Create your account and upload a resume

Sign up for the Zorlya job seeker app, confirm your email and upload the resume that every score is built from.

To use Zorlya you create an account, confirm your email with a six-digit code, then upload a resume. Every account is verified by email: enter the code we send you and your account opens. Every score is worked out against that resume, so Jobs, Applications and Analytics show an upload prompt until it is uploaded and read.

Create the account

  1. Open app.zorlya.com/register.
  2. Choose Continue with Google or Continue with GitHub, or fill in Full name, Email and Password and select Create account. A password has at least 8 characters. You must be at least 16 years old.
  3. If you used a password, Zorlya shows a Verify your email page. Enter the six-digit code we emailed to you. It works for 15 minutes.
  4. Your account opens once the code is accepted.

Google and GitHub confirm your address themselves, so there is no code to enter, and the account opens.

If the page says sign up is by invitation, use the link in your invitation email instead. It confirms your address, asks you to choose a password and opens a short setup, then sends the account for review.

What to do if it fails:

  • No code arrives. Check spam, then select Send a new code on the Verify your email page.
  • A provider sign-in ends with an error. The page names the reason. If it says an account with that email already exists, sign in with your password first and connect the provider under Settings, then Sign in and security. Sign in with GitHub, and connect or disconnect it has the steps.
  • The decision is a rejection. The page shows the reason. Select Update and resubmit, fix the answer it names and send the account for review again.

Upload your resume

  1. Once your account has opened, sign in and open Jobs. It shows Upload your resume to see your matches.
  2. Open Resume in the sidebar and drop in a file. Zorlya reads PDF, DOCX, DOC, RTF, ODT and TXT files up to 10 MB.
  3. Wait for the read to finish. Zorlya fills in your skills, experience and headline, and splits the text into passages that it turns into embeddings.
  4. Open Profile and check the result. Edit anything that was read wrongly on the Edit tab.

A file with no readable text, such as a scanned image, is refused and nothing is saved. Your profile is never replaced by an empty one. Export a text-based PDF and upload that instead.

Reading a resume counts toward a monthly limit that the Free plan sets at 5. Change your plan or cancel it shows where to see what you have used.

What happens to the resume

Zorlya uses the resume to score jobs and to draft documents for your account. It is not sold. An employer sees it only when you apply to that employer through Zorlya. You can delete a resume file on the Resume page, or delete the whole account under Settings, Privacy. The privacy policy lists every item we keep and for how long.
