Zorlya Hiring is the app for companies. If you are a job seeker, this post explains what the other side of an application can and cannot see. If you hire, it lists what the app does today and where it stops. We have tried to keep the “not yet” list as long as the “built” list, because a hiring tool that overpromises costs you a week.

Your roles may already be here

Zorlya reads the public job boards of applicant tracking systems and many other job boards, 130+ sources in all. If your company posts roles on one of those, they are probably on Zorlya before anyone from your team signs up. Signing up lets you claim the company, see who applied through Zorlya, and post roles directly.

Roles read from your ATS are free and never count against a plan limit. They are edited in your ATS. Roles posted on Zorlya are created and edited in the hiring app.

Getting started

  1. Sign up with a work email. Personal addresses such as gmail.com are refused.
  2. Enter the 6-digit code we email you. We then check that the domain matches your company, and a person reviews the cases that do not match.
  3. Claim the company page. We show the roles we already found and you confirm they are yours.
  4. Work through the first-steps list: complete the profile, connect your ATS, post or import a role, invite your team.

Team members get one of four roles: Owner, Admin, Recruiter or Interviewer. An interviewer sees interviews and scorecards and does not see offers, analytics or billing.

What a candidate shares

Candidates control what you see. A candidate’s fit score, its four parts (resume fit, skills match, salary fit and location fit) and the reasons reach you only when that person applies through Zorlya and ticks the consent box, and your company is on Team or Business. Applying without sharing is allowed. You then see the application and no score.

The talent pool works the same way. It shows only people who chose to be found, and it shows them without a name or current employer. They are revealed when the candidate accepts your contact request, and their current employer’s domain never sees them at all.

What the pipeline covers

  • Posting. A role editor with type, description, salary range, location, seniority and skills, and a careers page for your company. Pipeline stages are fixed for now and cannot be renamed.
  • Applicants. One candidates list across roles with filters, bulk move and bulk reject. You can add a candidate by hand or import a CSV with a preview first. Every rejection needs a reason, and the candidate can see their stage.
  • Messages. One thread per application, with saved replies and merge fields. Interviewers can read but not write.
  • Interviews. Kits per stage with instructions, a question bank and the attributes a scorecard rates. You record a time already agreed with the candidate, and Zorlya emails the candidate and each interviewer a calendar invitation, updates it if the time changes, and cancels it if you cancel. Reminders go out 24 hours and 1 hour before.
  • Scorecards and debrief. Each interviewer rates 1 to 4 per attribute and gives a recommendation. Nobody sees the other scorecards until they submit their own or the debrief opens. The debrief puts them side by side and records a hire or no-hire decision with a reason.
  • Offers. Salary, start date, equity, letter templates, revisions with history, and an accept or decline with a reason.
  • Checks. Employment, education, criminal record where lawful, and reference checks. Nothing runs until the candidate agrees to each one in the seeker app.
  • Onboarding. From a hired application, pick a template and a start date, and Zorlya builds a plan with tasks by owner, check-ins at day 1, week 1, 30, 60 and 90, and a short survey on the day.
  • Analytics. Funnel, time in stage, time to hire, rejection reasons and stuck candidates, with a CSV export that has no names in it.
  • Webhooks. Signed delivery of seven hiring events to your own system, with a delivery log and a replay.

Interview notes, scorecards and debrief notes are internal. They do not appear in anything a candidate sees or receives.

What is not built

  • E-signature. An offer is accepted by the candidate typing their name. That is an acknowledgement, not a legal signature.
  • Calendar connection and self-booking. You enter the agreed time. Google and Outlook connection and a booking link are not built.
  • Background check partners. No provider is connected. Your own provider runs the check, and an owner or admin records the result and a note.
  • Knockout rules, duplicate merging and consent renewal for candidates.
  • Pipeline stages you can edit, single sign-on, two-step sign-in and API keys.
  • Attachments in messages.
  • Onboarding extras: country tax and bank forms, pushing a hire into an HR system, bulk reminders and offboarding.
  • Instant webhook delivery. Events go out with a job that runs every 10 minutes.

Plans

There are three: Free, Team and Business. Seats, open roles, contact requests and prices are on the pricing page for companies, which is the place to trust.

Scorecards and debriefs, candidate fit scores, analytics with its export, offers and onboarding are on Team and Business. Free takes 25 applications and 50 messages to candidates a month. Payment for Team and Business goes through Freemius. A pending invitation counts as a seat until it is accepted, revoked or expired. Billing is a recent addition, so look at the company pricing page to see whether buying is open, and whether a trial is offered, when you read this.

Who sees your data

Roles, applicants and messages can be deleted from the app. Retention rules, a dry-run count of what a rule would remove, and candidate requests to see or delete their data are in Settings. A company ticket to our support team shows your company, plan, seats and role, and never candidate data.
