The Applications page is a board with five stages: Interested, Applied, Interviewing, Offered and Rejected. Each application is a card. Add a card from a job or with **Add application**, move it as things happen, and keep notes and events on the card's own page.

## The five stages

1. **Interested:** you want to apply, or you are deciding.
2. **Applied:** you sent it.
3. **Interviewing:** at least one conversation is booked or done.
4. **Offered:** you have an offer to consider.
5. **Rejected:** the application ended without an offer.

Each stage answers a different question. Interested means apply or drop. Applied means wait or follow up. Interviewing means prepare. Offered means decide. Rejected means move on.

## Add an application

1. Open **Jobs** and select a job, or open a job you added yourself ([Add a job from any site](/guides/applications/add-a-job-from-any-site)).
2. Apply on the employer's site. Select **View original posting** to open it.
3. Back in Zorlya, select **Mark as applied**. The card moves to Applied.

You can also open **Applications**, then select **Add** under Interested, or **Add application**, to start a card without applying yet. Only Interested takes a new card directly. A role posted on Zorlya is applied to inside the app with **Apply with Zorlya**.

## Move a card

Drag the card to another column, or open the card and change its stage. On a phone, the card has a stage menu, and a swipe moves it one step down the board. Switch between **Board** and **List** at the top, and use **Follow-up due** to see cards that need a nudge.

## Keep the detail on the application

Select a card to open its page. It holds the current stage, a timeline of events, your notes and the documents attached to it.

1. Select **Add event** when something happens: an interview, an offer detail or a rejection.
2. For an interview, enter the **Interview date and time**.
3. Write your notes and save them. Zorlya confirms with "Notes saved".

An application you made through Zorlya also shows an Interviews block with the time, kind and place of each interview a company scheduled, and an Add to calendar file for each one.

## Check the pattern

**Analytics** shows the funnel, weekly volume and response rates. If many cards sit in Applied and none in Interviewing, look upstream: the resume, the targeting or the volume.
