# Add a job from any site

> Add a job to Zorlya from a link or pasted text with the Add a job button, keep it private, score it and track it like any other job.

To add a job Zorlya does not list, select **Add a job** in the top bar, paste the link, the text of the posting or both, and select **Add job**. The job is private to your account, counts toward your saved jobs limit, and can be scored and tracked like any other.

## Add the job

1. Select **Add a job** in the top bar. On a phone it is the plus button.
2. Fill in at least one of these:
   - **Link to the job.** An https address of the posting.
   - **Text of the posting.** Paste the whole post, up to 20,000 characters. Pasted text must be at least 30 characters.
3. Optionally fill in **Job title** and **Employer**.
4. Select **Add job**.

Zorlya opens the new job. With a link only, it reads the page for the title, employer, place and date. It does not store the page's description, because a site's terms may not allow that. To get a score, paste the text of the posting.

## What stays private

Only you see an added job. It does not appear in the feed, in search, in another person's account or on any public page, and it is deleted with your account. It is part of the data export under **Settings, Privacy**.

If the link matches a job Zorlya already lists, Zorlya saves that job instead. Adding the same link again returns the same job.

## Score it and track it

1. Open the job. If it shows **Not scored yet**, make sure you pasted the text, then select **Score this job**.
2. Select **Mark as applied** after you apply, or add it to the board. [Track applications on the board](/guides/applications/track-applications-on-the-board) has the steps.

## Limits

- An added job counts toward your saved jobs limit. The Free plan holds 25.
- One account holds at most 200 added jobs.
- Removing an added job from **Saved** deletes it, unless you track an application on it or hold a cover letter or outreach sequence for it. A job kept that way still counts toward the 200.

## If it fails

- **"Add a link to the posting, or paste its text."** Both fields are empty.
- **"Paste the posting above and add the job again."** Zorlya could not read the page. Paste the text.
- **Your saved jobs are full.** Remove a saved job or [change your plan](/guides/help/change-your-plan-or-cancel).
- **The link is refused.** Use an https address with no username or password.
- **Too many tries.** Wait a minute and try again.
