What you get

## Side by side.

| What you get | Zorlya | FoundRole |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Where jobs come from | **130+ sources** Public boards and applicant tracking systems, read in the app after sign in | Openings imported directly from the hiring systems employers publish to, not resold aggregator feeds. It says it indexes over 1.8 million positions, refreshed hourly. Postings it cannot verify are labelled rather than removed.[Source](https://www.foundrole.com/how-it-works) |
| Fit scoring | **Scored against your resume** 4 dimensions, each with its evidence | Postings get a grade from eight independent checks, including pay and seniority against comparable openings, thin descriptions and how long a listing has been recycled. Resume matching reads your resume into a profile and compares it semantically with each posting. The page gives no accuracy rates or weights.[Source](https://www.foundrole.com/how-it-works) |
| Score explanation | YesGives the reasons for each score | Each grade comes with reasons. The AI Job Feed shows skill gaps: the free plan shows the first 3 required and 3 nice-to-have missing skills per job, and Pro shows all of them ranked with the full fit analysis.[Source](https://foundrole.com/pricing) |
| Cover letters | YesDrafted from matched experience | Not stated on its site.[Source](https://foundrole.com/pricing) |
| Application tracking | YesKanban pipeline | A free kanban board with Saved, Applied, Interview, Offer and Archived columns, private notes, recruiter contacts, salary details and email follow-up reminders. The page says there is no cap on saved jobs and no paid part of the tracker.[Source](https://www.foundrole.com/job-tracker) |
| Use from your own AI client | YesMCP server over OAuth, on Pro | An MCP server at foundrole.com/mcp, signed in with OAuth 2.1, plus a read-only anonymous endpoint. It lists ChatGPT, Claude, Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code, Perplexity and Windsurf. It can search jobs, check postings, manage the tracker and set reminders. Free accounts get a limited preview of filtered results, and Pro removes the limit.[Source](https://www.foundrole.com/ai-search-mcp) |
| Price | Free, Plus $9/month, Pro $19/month. [Pricing](https://zorlya.com/pricing) | Free ($0, no card) covers search, checks, tracker, alerts and the resume builder. Pro is $20/month, or a one week or three month option, with taxes included at the amount shown for your country. Lower-income countries get a reduced regional price. 14 day refund on a first monthly or three month payment.[Source](https://foundrole.com/pricing) |

## Worth knowing about FoundRole

- Pay estimates and sponsorship data rest on US records, so they say less about jobs outside the US or employers that file little. [Source](https://www.foundrole.com/how-it-works)
- The page calls a weak signal "not proof" and gives no accuracy rates for the checks or the matching. [Source](https://www.foundrole.com/how-it-works)
- Free accounts see only the first few jobs of a filtered list and a limited set of missing skills. Sponsorship history and full match explanations are Pro. [Source](https://foundrole.com/pricing)
- The weekly plan has no refund promise and is not offered in some countries with reduced regional pricing. [Source](https://foundrole.com/pricing)

## How this was checked

Read from foundrole.com: the home page, pricing, how-it-works, job-tracker, resume-builder and ai-search-mcp pages. The live statistics on the home page load by script and were not in the text read. No privacy policy was opened. No page read shows a numeric fit score. Checked 17 October 2026. Corrections go to the [Contact page](https://zorlya.com/contact).

### Where FoundRole’s own pages disagree

- The home page and how-it-works FAQ say Pro is priced for your country, while the pricing page and home page also show a flat $20/month.

Questions

## Short answers.

**Can I use both?**

Yes. FoundRole can check a posting for age, pay and sponsorship, and Zorlya can score roles from its sources against your resume. Neither needs the other.

**Does Zorlya apply to jobs for me?**

No. It scores, explains and drafts. You decide and you apply.

**Can I move my applications over?**

There is no import today. A card on the Zorlya board belongs to a job in the Zorlya feed, so applications are added from there, by hand or by asking your MCP client to call track_application.
